In short, I enjoy it because out of the thousands of games that I've tried over the years, it's the only game that has been able to keep me wholly entertained on a near-constant basis. It has a rather cartoony artstyle, with a lot of textures being low resolution. ![]() If you're going in looking at graphics, then WoW is definitely not going to be a great choice. However, it's far, far less popular than MineCraft and I believe (likely biased) that even RuneScape has more players than it. People still play WoW, and no it's not dead. They're both sorta direct competitors, with both being two of the oldest actively updated MMOs on the planet. As an addict of the MMO called 'RuneScape', I doubt I am the right person to be talking about WoW. That said, a lot of MMOs are struggling to retain a playerbase. WoW went f2p like ESO did, and from what I understand, WoW's playerbase has taken a huge hit. The majority of what I know about WoW is via proxy, but I have played it in the past. ![]()
